Nissan Motor on Tuesday appointed Senior VP Makoto Uchida as its next CEO along with Ashwani Gupta who was named COO. The appointment comes after the resignation of former CEO Hiroto Saikawa in September. Uchida has worked with the company since 2003 and has led its China operations since 2018, while Gupta has worked with Mitsubishi Motors as the COO.
