Five Bangladeshi students at NIT Silchar in Assam have been suspended and will be deported over their alleged involvement in violent clashes on campus, officials said on Monday. They added that the students enrolled on ICCR scholarships were also found with narcotics. The attack on September 8 involved rods, knives, and screwdrivers, injuring several, with two in ICU, officials added.
