Union Minister Nitin Gadkari revealed that he met Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, hours before he was assassinated in 2024. Gadkari and Haniyeh were both in Iran for the inauguration of Masoud Pezeshkian. Gadkari revealed he returned to his hotel after the ceremony, and later Indian ambassador told him they'd have to leave because of the assassination.
