Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari won Maharashtra's Nagpur Lok Sabha seat by defeating Congress' Nana Patole by a margin of 2,16,009 votes. Gadkari had ousted four-time Congress MP Vilas Muttemwar in 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He had then won the seat with a margin of over 2.8 lakh votes.
