The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued notices to over 100 medical colleges for failing to meet required standards. Colleges were found lacking in patient numbers, doctors, teachers, and staff. They have been given 45 days to fix the issues, failing which they may face strict action, including being barred from MBBS admissions.
