NMDC reported iron ore production of 5.31 MT in May 2026, up nearly 20% from 4.43 MT a year ago. For April-May FY27, cumulative production rose to 9.96 MT from 8.43 MT. Growth was driven by Chhattisgarh operations, where production increased to 3.99 MT and sales reached 3.34 MT during the month.
