Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to put aside elected members' requests to propose budgetary allocation for CCTV and electric pole installation work. "PMC won't give permission blindly. We'd install CCTV cameras only at places suggested by local police," PMC Electrical Department HOD Shrinivas Kandul said. "Even police would need to take responsibility to monitor it," he added.
