No cancer-causing formaldehyde found in baby shampoo retest: J&J

Johnson & Johnson on Monday said the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation laboratories retested the company's baby shampoo and reaffirmed the absence of cancer-causing compound formaldehyde in the product. In March, the Rajasthan Drugs Control Organisation had reported the presence of formaldehyde in samples of two batches of the shampoo. The company had rejected and challenged the finding.
