Supreme Court on Friday allowed a 15-year old girl to medically terminate her over seven-month pregnancy. The bench noted that forcing a minor to carry an unwanted pregnancy would cause severe mental, emotional and physical harm. It rejected the argument that adoption after birth was an alternative, stressing reproductive autonomy is Constitutional, fundamental right.
