No direct link between US oil deal and Ukraine peace talks: Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that he saw no direct link between US-Russia diesel deal and Russia's stance on Ukraine's peace talks. His remarks come after Reuters reported that US envoys told Ukrainian officials that the deal is part of efforts to bring Russia to the negotiating table. The deal was criticised by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
