The Centre has informed the Supreme Court that no extra attempt will be given to Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) aspirants, who could not appear for their last attempt in October 2020 due to COVID-19. Earlier, the Centre had said that the proposal to give an extra chance to civil service aspirants affected by COVID-19 was under active consideration.
