The Punjab government on Friday announced that all the state-run educational institutions have been directed not to charge any fees from Scheduled Caste (SC) students. This is in accordance with the rules of the post-matric scholarship scheme of the government. This is to ensure that the SC students do not face any financial hurdle in completing education, officials said.
