Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Thursday said that the government has no intention of hurting religious sentiments. He added that the JPC undertook an extensive process while deliberating on Waqf Bill 2025. "Our new legislation will have representation from all sects of Muslims in Waqf board, along with representation of backward classes. We are making it more inclusive," he added.
