A 25-year-old software engineer in Pune's Viman Nagar area committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of a hotel on Wednesday. "In IT there is no job security. I am worried a lot about my family," read a suicide note found in his hotel room. The deceased, identified as Gopikrishna Guruprasad, is survived by his parents and a sister.
