Amid tariff tensions with the US, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while speaking at an event on Saturday, said, "There are no permanent friends or enemies, only permanent interests." He noted that developed nations are becoming increasingly protectionist and stressed, "India does not consider anybody its enemy, but will not compromise the interests of its people regardless of any pressure."
