The Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) has said that there is no tsunami threat to India and Indian Ocean in connection with the 8.8-magnitude earthquake in Russia. Notably, tsunami struck parts of Russia and Japan following the massive earthquake. Tsunami warnings have also been issued for Hawaii, US West Coast and several Pacific islands.
