The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Saturday flagged low representation of women judges in Supreme Court and High Courts. It has urged CJI BR Gavai and collegium to consider elevating women judges to higher judiciary. It added that since 2021 no woman judge has been appointed to Supreme Court and there is currently one woman judge in apex court.
