Noel Tata vows to veto IPO listing, wants 3-yr window from RBI

Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata told the Tata Sons board that he would block any decision to list the company. He further sought a three-year extension from RBI to complete complex administrative, legal and structural work if a listing becomes unavoidable. The process would involve changes to Articles of Association, shareholder approvals, financial statements, due diligence and valuation.
