A dispute over ₹1,500 spiralled into a brutal killing in Noida on Thursday, where a man murdered his friend by smashing his head with a stone and dumping his body into a roadside drain. Police said the victim, who lived on a footpath, had an argument with the accused. Passers-by spotted the body and alerted authorities.
