Non-invasive tests reliable for diagnosing female incontinence

A Lancet study led by Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Fattah finds non-invasive clinical assessments are as effective as invasive urodynamics in diagnosing female urinary incontinence. Among 1,099 UK women, symptom improvement was similar in both groups. Researchers urge selective use of invasive tests to improve care and reduce patient discomfort.
