Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu on Monday reinforced the Inner Line Permit (ILP) system, making it mandatory for non-residents to obtain a permit to enter the state. In a meeting with officials and AAPSU leaders, Khandu stressed strengthening ILP to prevent illegal entry and prolonged stays of non-local migrants. "Our main objective is to protect our indigenous tribes," he said.
