North Korea's state media earlier this week promoted the consumption of black swan meat as a valuable food source amid the food crisis being faced by the country. "Black swan meat is delicious and has medicinal value," said Rodong Sinmun, the ruling party newspaper. A centre has also been opened for the rearing of black swans at Kwangpho Duck Farm.
