North Korea's "Hotel of Doom" could open after 30 years

There is speculation about the Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea finally opening, nearly 30 years after its construction began in 1987. Nicknamed the Hotel of Doom, developers and funds continuously fell through, despite repeated attempts to open the hotel. However, Egyptian development company Orascom recently visited Pyongyang to discuss its future and lights have been seen in its rooms lately.
