VD Satheesan, who was chosen by Congress as Kerala's new CM, thanked party leaders including Rahul Gandhi. "I'm not an outsider...I've been the Congress' Legislative Party (CLP) leader for the last four years...and this decision was taken by Priyanka Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi...and Mallikarjun Kharge," he said. "I don't see this position as a personal achievement...but as something divine," he added.
