The Supreme Court expressed serious reservations over the Karnataka High Court’s decision to grant bail to Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa in the Renukaswamy murder case. According to Live Law, the court said it "wasn't at all convinced” by how the High Court exercised its discretion. Darshan allegedly killed Renukaswamy after he sent purported lewd messages to actress Pavithra Gowda.
