After the BCCI revealed that UK's Hugh Edmeades will be the gavel master for the 2019 IPL auction, Welsh career auctioneer Richard Madley revealed that BCCI did not invite him to conduct the auction. "This was not my decision. In cricket terms I have been dropped," Madley tweeted. Notably, Madley had conducted all the IPL auctions from the start.
