PayPal has said that it is not pursuing an acquisition of Pinterest at this time. This comes after media reports stated that the firm was in talks to buy Pinterest for as much as $45 billion and had offered $70 per share, mostly in stock, for Pinterest. PayPal shares have fallen 11.5% since reports of the talks emerged.
