Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal said there was "nothing to hide" about the relationship between its Chief People Officer Akriti Chopra and Blinkit Founder Albinder Dhindsa. The board was aware of it and Akriti was never involved in discussions relating to the ₹4,447-crore acquisition of Blinkit, Goyal explained. Earlier, Zomato was criticised for not disclosing that the two executives are married.
