A nova explosion will appear to add a "new star" visible to the naked eye between now and September, NASA reported. T Coronae Borealis, a binary star system, consists of white dwarf pulling hydrogen from a red giant. Every 80 years, the hydrogen buildup triggers a thermonuclear explosion, creating a brilliant light showing as if a new star has appeared.
