Referring to a large number of people present at his rally in Thakurnagar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "I now understand why Didi (West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee) has resorted to violence. She's scared because of your love for us." Thanking the crowd "for turning out in large numbers," he added, "I am confident West Bengal wants to see change."
