NSE and BSE have announced that they will immediately suspend trading in the shares of insolvent companies if the value of the listed securities is considered zero under the approved resolution plan. To prevent retail investors from facing losses, the suspension will take effect once the bankruptcy tribunal issues an "oral order" approving the resolution plan.
