NSE has revised the expiry day for equity derivatives contracts from Thursday to Tuesday, effective September 1, 2025, following SEBI’s approval. Contracts expiring before August 31, 2025, will remain unchanged. Monthly contracts will now expire on the last Tuesday of each month. A separate circular with operational guidelines will be issued to ensure a smooth transition for market participants.
