Nuclear-capable Agni II missile successfully test-fired

India on Tuesday successfully test-fired the medium-range nuclear-capable Agni II missile from APJ Abdul Kalam island off the Odisha coast. The missile has a strike range of more than 2,000 km, can carry a payload of 1,000 kg, and is equipped with an advanced high accuracy navigation system. It has already been inducted into the armed forces.
