The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has said the number of vacant beds in civic-run hospitals is rising as the number of new COVID-19 cases in Mumbai is gradually decreasing. Civic-run hospitals are also reporting a gradual decrease in critically ill COVID-19 patients. Currently, BMC has over 2,900 beds available in Dedicated COVID-19 Hospitals and Dedicated COVID-19 Health Centres.
