Residents of Nurpur town are becoming anxious as they have not received monthly water bills from the Jal Shakti Department for the past 12 months. Earlier, consumers used to receive manually prepared bills every 3 to 4 months. The residents argue that continuous tariff hikes, combined with delayed billing, have become a headache.
