Nutritionist Siddhi Kripal has shared common foods and drinks that slow down metabolism. They include sugary drinks like soft drinks, packaged juices and energy drinks, refined grains, ready-to-eat foods like instant noodles, chips and frozen food, low-protein breakfasts like sugary cereal or plain toast, refined vegetable oils, too much caffeine, gluten from modern wheat and excess non-veg.
