Stock trader Ravinder Kapur claimed media is the "crumbling fourth pillar of democracy" in India, as billionaires Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani own 27 and 12 news channels respectively. "And you think we're seeing the truth on TV," Kapur said. Adani Group CFO Jugeshinder Robbie Singh replied, "With this logic, Ford Foundation and foreign billionaires operate majority of Indian media."
