Members of the New Zealand Parliament have been urged to delete TikTok on their parliamentary phones as it poses a security risk, reports stated. "The parliamentary service strongly recommends you don't use TikTok on your parliamentary service devices as....data on your devices could be accessed by ByteDance [TikTok's owner] and the Chinese government," a parliamentary directive reportedly read.
