NZ opposition MP who leaked details of COVID-19 patients resigns

New Zealand's Conservative opposition lawmaker Hamish Walker said that he has resigned after admitting he leaked the names of coronavirus patients to news media. He said, "I'll not be standing for re-election for the...upcoming 2020 election...I sincerely apologise for my actions." He had sent details of 18 patients to several news outlets on condition he remained anonymous as the source.
