NZ's Oriini first person with traditional face tattoo to present primetime news

New Zealand's 37-year-old journalist Oriini Kaipara has become the first person with a traditional lower chin tattoo to present the primetime news bulletin. Kaipara has a moko kauae, a traditional lower chin tattoo worn by New Zealand's Māori women. She got the tattoo after a DNA test in 2017 revealed that she is uniquely 100% Māori.
