New CDC data reveals more than 20% of Americans are grappling with obesity - with a body mass index of at least 30, mostly in the Midwest and the South. The CDC said that before 2013, no state had an adult obesity prevalence at or above 35%. However, 23 states have now hit that dark mark within the last decade.
