Obsession with 1-year returns is dangerous: Radhika Gupta

Radhika Gupta, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Edelweiss Mutual Fund said investors increasingly judge funds by six-month or one-year returns, calling the trend dangerous. She argued that investors should look at longer periods and rolling returns instead, adding that blindly chasing whichever category has performed recently can lead to poor investment decisions.
