A study published in 'Current Biology' found that octopuses can use mirrors as a tool to find prey and food hidden from their sight. Researchers said octopuses in 73% of trials were able to use mirrors to move towards prey located behind them. The findings suggest octopuses have the ability to create a mental map of their territory, researchers added.
