Odisha artist creates 7-foot diya stand depicting Ramayana

Odisha artist Saroj Kumar Rout created a seven-foot-tall diya stand priced at ₹2.5 lakh. The intricately designed structure can hold 108 diyas at once. The artist spent nearly eight months creating the piece, using approximately one quintal of clay. The artwork depicts important episodes from the life of Lord Ram, including his birth, marriage, exile and return to Ayodhya.
