As a festive gift, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the proposal to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) by three percent for the state government employees. "Dearness relief for pensioners drawing on a revised rate has also been increased by three percent," the Chief Minister's Office said. The move will benefit nearly four lakh government employees.
