Odisha’s Puri Beach to get women lifeguards

For the first time, Odisha will deploy women lifeguards at Puri Beach as part of an initiative to strengthen safety arrangements for tourists. Selected candidates will undergo intensive training at the Odisha State Watermanship and Lifeguard Institute in Chandrabhaga near Puri before being deployed at the beach.
