Odisha on Friday set the Guinness World Record for the 'largest serving of fermented rice (Pakhala)'. Odisha Tourism achieved the award by preparing 1,174 kg of 'Pakhala' during the celebration of the 'Pakhala Parba' event in Bhubaneswar. "It is a proud moment for every Odia, as we take our timeless traditions from local to global," CM Mohan Charan Majhi said.
