Offer Letter: Is it legally binding on the company?

An offer letter isn’t legally binding- for you or the company. It's just a letter of specifying your role, salary, benefits, and other important information. The company can deny you a job even after sending an offer letter. But if you’ve signed an employment contract specifying the joining date, then it’s legally binding.
