Oil India, a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam, a company under the Government of Rajasthan, have signed a Joint Venture Agreement to create a new company. This joint venture will focus on developing 1.2 GW of renewable energy projects in Rajasthan. These projects consist of 1000 MW of solar and 200 MW of wind power.
