A lawyer representing the family of K Aravind, an Ola Electric employee who died by suicide, called the company "worse than East India Company" during a hearing at Karnataka High Court. He remarked while opposing CEO Bhavish Aggarwal's plea to quash an abetment to suicide case. Aravind had accused Aggarwal and other senior leaders of mental harassment and financial exploitation.
